1st Edition 2nd Imp 1937. This is the first cheap edition and was printed 5 months after the 1st edition and in a similar format. From the library of Richard Adams the writer of Watership Down. This being his own personal copy. Adams was an avid reader of the William books as a child. Full provenance and with a Richard Adams bookplate attached to the front endpaper. Book is very good++ and very bright. Contents good. The wrapper is very good++ and bright. Edges lightly rubbed, nicked and creased. Very small loss to spine tip and base. Un-common as bright as this. A good example.
