Engraved on copper by Charles Sigrist and frontispiece designed by Stephen Gooden. The book comes with the original ‘Proposal’ from Douglas Cleverdon, who distributed the books for Sassoon. Subscriptions were received for 212 copies of the book. A total of 272 were printed, the surplus 60 copies being specially bound for Sassoon. Book is very good and bright. Contents good.
