1st Edition 1949. Signed by the author. Signed Malory Tower books are notoriously uncommon. Wonderful Provenance: Joy Clark, thence by descent. Joy Clark born 1937 grew up in Beaconsfield with her parents Isabella and Cecil Clark. The Clark's ran an ironmonger's shop in the town and Enid Blyton was a regular customer. For many years whenever one of her books was published, Blyton would kindly sign and give a book to Joy, who was a small child at the time. Book is very good++ and bright. Contents good. One illustration partly coloured in neatly.
