Joy Clark born 1937 grew up in Beaconsfield with her parents Isabella and Cecil Clark. The Clark's ran an ironmonger's shop in the town and Enid Blyton was a regular customer. For many years whenever one of her books was published, Blyton would kindly sign and give a book to Joy, who was a small child at the time. Book is very good++ and bright. Contents good. A few illustrations have been neatly coloured in. The wrapper is good++ and quite bright. Small loss to spine tips and corners. Edges rubbed and nicked with small closed tear.
