New Edition 1846. The book was originally from the dissolved private royal court library Wittelsbach on Tegernsee in Bavaria. In the year 1846 this library belonged to Duke Maximilian Joseph in Bavaria (1808-1888) (father of Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie - known as Empress Sissi), Archduchess Marie Therese of Austria - Este, Princess of Modena and last queen of Bavaria (consort king Ludwig III) brought very large collections into this library until 1919.
