New Uniform Edition Circa 1912. Very rare with the wrapper. After the death of his fiancée a student has just surfaced into society. Through a medium, he is introduced to spiritualism, discovering that he too has the same special powers such as automatic writing, dropping into trances and he can start to control other beings. He becomes interested in the possibility of communication with his dead fiancée, but during a sitting when a medium materialises the girl, he becomes possessed by an evil entity and the family fight to exorcise the spirit. Book undated but wrapper dates the c1912. Book is very good++ and very bright. The wrapper is good++ with loss to edges. Edges rubbed and nicked. White parts of the wrapper are soiled/marked.
