Contains 6 wonderful full page Victorian Chromolithographic pop-ups (Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Puss in Boots, There Was an Old Woman who lived in a shoe and Beauty and the Beast). In addition there are sepia line illustrations on all of the 21 pages of text. This book was printed in Bavaria, which was the centre of chromolithographic printing at this time and the quality of the chromolithographs confirms this. All of the pop-ups are original and are in perfect working condition. A few creases to some pop up edges. Book is very good with lightly marked/soiled boards. Fraying and marking to boards. Contents quite good but pages slightly age toned. clean. Inscriptions to end paper.
