1st Edition 1855. Originally owned by Lord Raglan who's major claim to fame was the poor handling during the Crimean war of the Charge of the Light Brigade. Two volumes bound in the original cloth. Presentation inscription from the author to Lord Raglan. Books came from the original Raglan family library. Books are good++ and quite bright. Cloth marked and soiled in places. Edges rubbed in places. Contents good with bookplates to endpapers.
