The four books were first published respectively in 1921, 1922, 1924 and 1928; the tetralogy was first issued in this single volume in 1936. Henry Williamson (1895-1977) remains a writer both much admired and controversial because of his opinions expressed on Germany in the lead up to World War II which were 1st published in this volume. Book is very good++ and quite bright. Contents good. Name to endpaper. The wrapper is very good+ with light soiling to covers. Edges lightly rubbed and nicked. Spine very sligthly age toned.
