This is the edited diary of a WW1 solider often credited with being the first anti-war publication of that war. The diary charts West's disillusionment with war and eventually with God and human nature. An extremely scarce and collectible item.Signed by the author to the title page. Book is very good++ and bright. Contents good.. The rare fragile wrapper is near very good with rubbing and nicks to edges. Small loss to spine tips, corners and edges. Light soiling to wrapper.
