1st Edition C1945. A Powell Powell Colour book and very uncommon. Illustrated by Angela Baynes. Minimal edge wear and a very clean bright copy of an exceptionally rare wartime title from Powell Perry. Perry's family owned a printing firm in Putney and he persuaded some of the artists at the Camouflage Centre to moonlight, producing a number of wartime children's titles modelled to some extent on Carrington's Picture Puffin series. The soft cover book is very good and bright. Light rubbing, creasing and nicks to edges. Nice clean contents. Staples rusting.
