First US edition 1952, first printing. This copy has been signed and inscribed by Nicholas Prychodko to Senator Joseph McCarthy. McCarthy was the Republican US Senator who lead the investigations into Communist infiltration and subversion of the US Government and society during the second Red Scare and gave rise to the term McCarthyism. The inscription reads, "To Senator Joseph McCarthy, a great fighter against Muscovite Communist menace, respectfully Nicholas Prychodko, Feb 16, 1953. Toronto."

He eventually escaped and after several years in European P.D. camps, he settled in Canada.
Book is very good++ with bright boards. Contents good. The wrapper is very good+ with light rubbing, creasing and nicks to edges.
