Perry's family owned a printing firm in Putney and he persuaded some of the artists at the Camouflage Centre to moonlight, producing a number of wartime children's titles modelled to some extent on Carrington's Picture Puffin series. The book is very good and bright. Light edge rubbing. Nice clean contents.
