1st Edition 1942. Illustrate. The first Mary Mouse book is very uncommon. Very uncommon. Signed by the author. Wonderful Provenance Joyce Clark, thence by descent. Joy Clark born 1937 grew up in Beaconsfield with her parents Isabella and Cecil Clark. The Clark's ran an ironmonger's shop in the town and Enid Blyton was a regular customer. For many years whenever one of her books was published, Blyton would kindly sign and give a book to Joy, who was a small child at the time. The softcover book is just about good but complete. Edges rubbed and covers soiled and worn. Contents average with a number of illustrations lightly coloured in. Complies to all first edition points as required i the Blyton bibliography.
