There is a stamp for the ‘Old Syndicate Room’ with a date of 9th June 1925 inside both covers and on one of the internal pages. With a little research I discovered that there was an ‘Old Syndicate Room’ at the Cambridge University Library, and it seems credible to me that a copy of Sassoon’s book found its way from the Cambridge University Press to the Cambridge University Library.
