Smith Elder re-published all the Bronte novels in 1857-58 to widen the appeal of their books. They were produced cheaply in yellow cloth and are difficult to find in collectible condition. The book is very good and has had a recent modern rebind by a master book binder. Quite a tight binding. Contents quite good. Pages lightly marked, foxed, age toned and used in places.
