Beaumont) and Ursula Pike (nee Beaumont) who were sisters. Daphne Du Maurier was their first cousin. Ursula and Daphne were particular friends and often holidayed together. They spent many hours as children discovering the Cornish coastline. According to the family, Ursula and Daphne discovered the house that became Manderley in her most famous book Rebecca. Signed or inscribed books by the author are very un-common especially something as personel as this. Book is very good++ and bright. Pages edges a little dusty. Tape to the outer endpaper.
