The letter from his wife is thanking him for his kind words at the death of Sir Aylmer Gould Hunter-Weston. Lieutenant General Sir Aylmer Gould Hunter-Weston 1864-1940 was a British Army officer who served in World War I at Gallipoli in 1915 and in the very early stages of the Somme Offensive in 1916. He was also a Scottish Unionist MP. Tudor-Craig was an officer in the 4th (militia) battalion of the Royal Irish Rifles.
