James Andrew Broun-Ramsay, 1st Marquess of Dalhousie 1812-1860 was a Scottish statesman and colonial administrator in British India. He served as Governor-General of India from 1848 to 1856. From a autograph book kept by A. P. Watt (1834-1914), founder of A. P. Watt & Son in 1875, the world's first literary agents. Size of letter is 175mm x 110mm. Good condition. Mounted to paper.
