An Original Signed BBC Photo Card by Comedians Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise. Also includes a BBC Typed Letter/Envelope on the Behalf of Ernie Wise. The typed letter thanks Jane for the teddy bear that she sent and that they will call it Rupert Bear. Dated 1971. Eric Morecambe (John Eric Bartholomew), 1926-1984 and Ernie Wise (Ernest Wiseman) 1925-1999, known as Morecambe and Wise were an English comic double act, working in variety, radio, film and most successfully in television. Their partnership lasted from 1941 until Morecambe's death in 1984. They have been described as "the most illustrious, and the best-loved, double-act that Britain has ever produced".
