A letter to a friend with regards to vising the RHS in London and receiving the lovely Chrysanthemums that he will look after. Stanhope Alexander Forbes RA 1857 – 1947 was a British artist and a founding member of the influential Newlyn school of painters. He was often called 'the father of the Newlyn School'.
