Victor MacClure (1887-1963) He specialized in detective novels and contemporary thrillers and also published as Peter Craig. He was the creator of Chief-Inspector-Detective Archibald Burford, who has intelligence, money, and a talented scalp. His only sf novel, The Ark of the Covenant: A Romance of the Air and of science fiction published in 1924. Various sizes. Condition is generally good. Light folding creases. Age toning.
