An Original Handwritten Letter and Envelope Signed by Writer Ella Wheeler Wilcox. Dated 1911. The letter is a two page autograph letter on Langham Hotel, London notepaper requesting of a Miss Barrow of the Standard proofs of her article to look over. Ella Wheeler Wilcox 1850-1919 was an American author and poet. Her works include Poems of Passion and Solitude, which contains the lines "Laugh, and the world laughs with you; weep, and you weep alone." Her autobiography, The Worlds and I, was published in 1918, a year before her death.Size is 160mm x 115mm. Condition is good. Light folding creases.
