An Original Handwritten Letter Signed by Artist John Piper. Dated 1971.The letter reads 'Dear Miss Denby, Thank you so much for your letter. Of course I will sign those unsigned pictures. Do come in with them when you are visiting Marlow Common. I am so glad they give pleasure. We shan't be here next weekend, nor a good bit of the week after (12th - 15th) but if you happen to be around 16-17-18 time we will welcome you, or the week after. His work often focused on the British landscape, especially churches and monuments, and included tapestry designs, book jackets, screen-prints, photography, fabrics and ceramics.
