An Original Handwritten Document in Relation to an Agreement for an Individual to be an indentured servant on the Paisley Plantation in Jamaica. Dated 10th Nove 1788. This article of agreement between Thomas Pedlar the elder and the younger of Clifton Bristol and William Gordon also of Clifton for Thomas Pedlar the younger to serve for four years as an indentured servant on Gordon’s plantation called Paisley Estate in the Parish of St James, Jamaica. Size is 175mm x 110mm. Condition is average. Very age toned, folding loss, marked, blank loss to rear, foxing, edge nicks and light repair.
