An Original Hand Written Letter and Signed by Sir William Russell Flint. Dated 1963. Dear John Wilson, I was greatly saddened to read of your father's death. A big link with all my middle life had, I felt, gone. Many, many people will feel the same. Your father was a greatly esteemed man, and a very kind man. My wife, who was for many years an invalid, used to receive parcels of books (proof copies) which he thought would interest and amuse her in her nursing home. I loved him for doing that good act in the midst of all his interests and busy-ness. Now, I will love his memory.
