An Original Ernest Shepard Pen and Ink drawing. Drawn in circa 1925 and appeared in Playtime & Company Verses By E.V Lucas 1925 on pages 56 & 57. Framed/ mounted in light oak wood behind glass. Pictures measure 205mm x 120mm, frame 295mm x 210mm. This drawing book belonged to Ursula Brown. Ursula met Ernest in 1964 and was given the pictures and two others by him as a gift. The style of caravan in the pictures were later used in the Wind in the Willows of 1931. Includes a copy of the original letter from the Powell family owner. In lovely condition.
